THIS EMAIL COMMUNICATION IS PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL AND INTENDED FOR THE ADDRESSEE ONLY. IF YOU ARE NOT THE INTENDED RECIPIENT, PLEASE IMMEDIATELY SHOOT YOURSELF. HELLO MUM, SORRY I HAVEN'T WRITTEN. BUT, AS NO-ONE EVER READS THIS ABSURD LEGAL BULLSHIT AT THE BOTTOM OF EMAILS I THOUGHT I'D SAY HI AND MENTION THE KIDS ARE OKAY AND YOU'RE WELCOME AS ALWAYS TO SEND MONEY.
As you can see, the above "Stationery" is all set to go. Fire it up in Outlook Express and start typing after the greeting.
The logo is hyperlinked to the Bonza Mobile Computer Repairs website as is the animated button at the bottom. (If you don't know how to create hyperlinks under images or text, click on this hyperlinked text HERE).
There's the company slogan and the Freecall number. There are even opening and closing felicitations!
The only limit is your imagination. The signature is simply a scanned image and you can see the author's name and title.
Add whatever else you want such as a Disclaimer.
So, go have a play in Word creating your masterpiece. If you need a logo, an animated button or any other snazzy design feature, Click here to send Bonzawebsites an email with details so you may receive a quote.
Tip: Not everyone is as brilliant as you and me. Give clear instructions like Click here to email us rather than being kewl like this: Get a quote. (On most multi page websites, if you click on the logo on any page, it's hyperlinked to the home page. Bet you didn't know that! Being kewl is really uncool).
When you're happy with your document in Word,
Click on File
From the Drop down menu, click on Save as
"Selected" in the File name field down the bottom of the Dialogue box which opens is a file name. Change it to whatever you want such as Bonza Mobile Letterhead.
At the right of the Save in field at the top of the Dialogue box is a Down Arrow
Click on the Down arrow and from the Drop down
Click on Drive_C (C:)
Now, click on the Down arrow again and this time bring up from the Drop down Program Files
Keep using this technique with the Down arrow and Drop down to drill way down into the bowels of the system...
Bring up Common Files
Yeah! You did it! Now, the very bottom input field in the dialogue box is the Save as type field: Use the tiny drop down arrow to bring up as Web Page. Ready? Take a deep breath and in your Dialogue Box (bottom right) click Save
Phew! I need a glass of red! I'll pour one for you too
Ahhh! Lovely. Now, fire up Outlook Express.
Notice the tiny Down arrow right of the New Mail icon towards the top left (It may be called something similar such as Create Message or Create Mail).
From the Drop down, click Select Stationery.
From the Select Stationery Dialogue Box which appears, ignore the folders, click on your file (which you named something equivalent to Bonza Mobile Letterhead - It will have the blue "E" icon) and click OK.
Voila! What a team we are!
Note: The next time you click on the Down arrow right of the New Mail icon, you'll see your file at the top of the list - You won't have to click on Select Stationery.
Also note: You can create as many different "Stationery items" as you like such as a quick memo with just the logo rather than the full blown letterhead with all the bells and whistles.
Another note: If you ever want to send a plain old-fashioned email, click on No Stationery.
